Welcome to the ‘Picnic Creek Event Room’ at Kondalilla Eco Resort

Immerse yourself in the pure tranquility of our Event Room, nestled within the grounds of Kondalilla Eco Resort , adjacent to the Kondalilla National Park, located on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Available from Sunday's to Thursday's for full day hire from 7am to 8pm at a cost of $750 per day and available for intimate celebrations.

The room is 80 sqm with high vaulted ceilings, plenty of natural light, a large rear deck overlooking one of our many dams and two restrooms and have exclusive use of our heated salt and magnesium water pool, sauna and entertainment area.

There are several catering options available, these include:

  • Do-it-yourself (using the kitchen facilities and bbq available at the venue),
  • O’derves / Buffet menu provided by Kondalilla Restaurant served at Picnic Creek.
  • 2 or 3 course set menu’s, sit-down lunch or dinner served at Kondalilla Restaurant (1-minute walk from Picnic Creek).
  • A range of homemade Hampers available to be delivered to Picnic Creek, or to be taken out to enjoy in the National Park.

If staying at the resort, Breakfast is available in the Restaurant at weekends, or Breakfast Hampers can be delivered to your rooms on weekdays.

We cater for all dietary requirements (including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free).

The resort can accommodate up to 66 guests depending on the bedding requirements (55 guests if all in their own beds).

The range of accommodations available (e.g shared rooms, private rooms, deluxe options). We have a variety of room types consisting of the below categories.

  • 1 x Studio (sleeps 2 people in a queen bed)
  • 3 x Family Rooms (sleeps 4 people 1 x queen bed and 2 single beds)
  • 10 x Treehouses (sleeps 2 people 1 king/twin share)
  • 1 x Lodge (sleeps 6 people 1 x king/twin share, 1 x queen bed and two single beds)
  • 1 x Chalet (sleeps 4 people 1 king/twin share and 1 x queen bed)
  • 2 x Log Cabin (sleeps 6 people 1 king/twin share, 2 x single beds and 2 x trundle beds)
  • 3 x Villa (sleeps 2 people in a king bed)
  • 2 x Spa Haven Cabins (sleeps 2 people in a king bed)

The fee for splitting a king bed is $30

Pricing for each accommodation type, including any group or retreat discounts, ranges from $389 to $599 per night depending on the room type.

  • Conference room hire and/or a group accommodation booking can be made in advance, however, your booking is considered tentative until full payment has been received.
  • Kondalilla Eco Resort will agree to hold your booking until 7 days prior to the event and/or check-in date. At this specified release date, any rooms from your original block that have not been reserved will be released back into our allotment for general sale and payment will be required.
  • Security of Booking: The encrypted credit card will be held securely within our reservation system to confirm your booking and will be applied to any unpaid account balances, damage, excessive cleaning or any other charge warranted by management.
  • Cancellations within 7 days will forfeit the full amount.
  • No refunds will be offered should you decide to check out early.
  • Changes of dates and postponements for accommodation bookings may incur an administration fee of $75.
  • Accommodation prices may vary without notice due to seasonal fluctuation of product costs.
  • We cannot offer refunds for weather, natural disasters and external factors which may prohibit your stay and recommend you seek independent travel insurance if you are concerned external factors may impede your stay. In poor weather we advise guests to move their vehicles to a safer site to avoid damage from falling debris as no refunds will be issued nor is the resort liable for any insurance claims
  • Kondalilla Eco Resort takes no responsibility for any damage, lost or stolen items from accommodation, including damage caused by natural events to vehicles parked within the grounds.
  • We advise all guests to securely lock their accommodation and/or motor vehicle when unoccupied
  • We understand in the course of business that booking cancellations can occur, however, as we have turned away other potential guests, we ask that you advise us as early as possible of your intention to cancel.
