About

Welcome to Kondalilla

Kondalilla is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘rushing waters’ and gives honour to the beautiful Kondalilla Falls nestled within the adjacent National Park. These are the traditional lands of the Jinibara people and has special spiritual significance for the Aboriginal people, many whom would travel great distances to gather when the bunya nuts were in season. This gathering would be held every year in the Blackall Range. We are very fortunate to still have Bunya Pine (Araucaria Bidwillii) nestled throughout our Resort.

We invite you to join us and experience firsthand the magical experience of staying at Kondalilla.
